During my pregnancy I gained a lot of hair on my head, after I stopped breastfeeding a lot of my new hair fell out quickly especially when I had a shower. This was so worrying and daunting and I think that potentially more hair fell out than I gained during the pregnancy. I started taking hair growth tablets but these were expensive and then after a couple of weeks I thought I just needed to get over it and used to it.
Then I noticed lots of new and think hair growth coming back. It has now been 2 years and I my hair is growing back thicker.
This was my experience, but it is not always the same experience as other mothers as I have friends who has and who have not experienced this!
