Babies can see from birth but only shapes. Their mother’s face as a sort of shadow, grey, white and black colouration gradually over the following weeks they will be able to recognize more detail, eyes, mouth, nose and very soon all colours and shapes. Watch as your baby focuses on an object or your face.
