It is advisable to sterilise your baby’s bottle for up to 12 months. You have to be very careful with milk because it can breed germs, which can cause the baby to feel ill with vomiting and diarrhoea. You should thoroughly clean your bottles, especially the teats where milk can build up! You can also wash the bottles on the top shelf of the dishwasher before you sterilise you sterilise it.

It’s important to sterilise all your baby’s feeding equipment, including bottles and teats, until they are at least 12 months old. This will protect your baby against infections, in particular diarrhoea and vomiting. It is highly recommended to sterilise tilll 12 months after which it is upto your decision.
