Can You Feel A Baby Move At 8 Weeks?

If you are wondering, can you feel a baby move at 8 weeks? Please see following answer to this question.
This is the stage your baby is changing from an embryo to a fetus. You will not be able to feel your baby at 8 weeks, but if you are feeling movement in your tummy it is probably just gas.
You will typically start feeling something when you are around 18 to 20 weeks pregnant.
If this is your second pregnancy you might even start recognising the signs as early as 16 weeks. However if this is your first pregnancy, it could take you longer to recognise those little fluttering feelings/movements in your tummy.

This would be most unlikely it’s usually not before 14-16 weeks.

  3. Jane says:

No, even though I was super eager to feel her, i didnt feel her move at least until 20 weeks 🙂

The first foetal movement is a bending of the head and neck at 10 weeks, followed by a full range of movements, such as limb movements, breathing and stretching, that occur regularly from 15 weeks. Although mums-to-be start sensing these movements from around week 16 onwards and the number of foetal movements is thought to change over time, the precise frequency is much debated and remains poorly understood.
