How Old Can A Baby Fly For Free?

Have you asked yourself, how old can a baby fly for free? Please read the useful answers to this question below.
Generally in the U.K. you are not required to buy a full priced ticket until your baby is 2 years old and then they move from sitting on your lap to sitting on their own seat.
On most airlines if your baby is under two you pay a reduced fare and most airlines charge around 10% of the adult fare for a child under two years old to fly without a seat of their own.
Note that different airline policies vary and they change frequently, so it’s a good idea to call ahead or check your airline’s website every time you fly to make sure you know what to expect.
Some airlines permit babies who are two days old to fly, whereas others will only allow babies who are at least two weeks old on board. But note you will need a passport for your baby.

A baby can technically never fly for free, even though you don’t need to buy a full price ticket in the UK until your baby is 2 years old. The airlines still charge you a smaller fee.
